R12S idle problems fixed!! Hard Accel Problems fixed!!!!
 

So Id thought I would add my own experience, not that all of you would expect the same result but here it goes.

My R1200S had a problem with hard accels, plus everyone having problems with the idle made me think mine was acting up.

The fuel pump was the culprit, but, 2 other things had part in this as well which in turn made the problem seem so much worse. I noticed that once the tank was near empty, full power. That lead me to belive that the fuel pump couldnt pump with so much pressure around it, I removed the pump, noticed plastic pieces that were in the strainer, they were positioned as so they could fold together to actually clog the pump, I removed the strainer and sat in napa for 20min going through boxes and boxes till I found one thats the right ring size and without the plastic in it.

Next, We out of $*%s and giggles decided to swap the assembly out for one we bought used. It fired up and ran full power with a full tank.

We removed the injectors and took them to an injector only repair business, cleaned and tested. They gave us a set of orings that were a new type that resists high friction, they had a white powder lube on them????

Installed and everything is better, so much better, I actually want to keep it now, I was so used to it sputtering and falling on its face I ripped it coming out of a turn in second and pulled and rode it till 80mph, SMOOTH.

Hope nobody runs into this prob, but atleast its been figured out.
