I agree Shreddr, that does look nice.

For entertainment value, would you do me a favor and run us all through the exhausts systems that have been on your bike?

Yes,

AZ, when I bought the bike it had a full Remus, I didn't get the stock unit with the bike. I hated the Remus "car" muffler look, and so I bought the HPE cannister to use with the Remus header. I then decided to go for the narrow HPE header so I could get the sporty belly pan. So net-net, I swapped a full Remus for a full HPE, thats it.

Oh, I thought there was another in there somewhere, my bad.

This looks nice, I really like the plate bracket on this bike.

envy leads to pictures of Martin Feldman , wow !

Congratulatons Jeff, the look of that mod is brilliant, I hope, the dyno sheet will be the same.
It's already known that the narrow version of the HPE manifold works good. Hope the upward facing Y-Tubes and the new silencers will work well together with the manifold.

I like them for the HP2 as well!

I thought I remember reading on here, they might decrease power because they dont have the same volume as original and most other aftermarket mufflers. I'm not an exhaust expert so take that with statement with a grain of salt and maybe search around and see if you can find the post.

Oh also Mtec told me the end cans were from a R1, if you may want to piece together your own set.

once the dB killers come out it will have a much better look.

Lars, I didn't purchase this system (yet! ) I do like the way it looks though, it has more of a Ducati 1098 style that appeals to me.

Which "M-Tec" do you mean ?
The "Marty Feldman silencers" look like the new Akrapovic series without stickers (for R1 !)

By the way: Both solutions, the one-piece Akrapovic silencer and the two single Akrapovic silencers for the '09 Yam R1 have a length of 320mm.
So I don't think the two sigle cans have lot less cubic capacity compared to the one-piece can.

I am pretty sure they are the Akrapovic cannisters. This is the same system that MTec made for the HP2S only adapted to the R12S. They call the bike the "Black Pearl"

Is this like ugly girls hanging out with pretty ones? The Marty pic makes the R1200S look that much better?

Hey, everybody has an opinion, and everyone has their own taste.

The fact that you think the R12S is ugly just means your opinion does not matter, and you have bad taste.

Whoa! Time out! I love the way the R1200s looks - Marty's the not-so-pretty one!
And, I have excellent taste (according to my wife)
