BTW everyone, noting the high level of photographic expertise here, if you have good images showing the road, creating the desire with the viewer/reader to ride (or drive) it, consider submitting it to some kind regional or national travel magazine. Also, they have all kinds of pics showing a car. A motorcycle in the road image is something different. Just send the editor an email with the image(s). AAA sent me $250 to use this photo. How about that! Seriously, with humility, just mentioning this in case you can make a buck or two....

I have your phone number. When I travel I am computer Lite, so may just call Sunday when getting close to Colorado Springs to set something up. Basically we'll be using your book to plan the next day. Our No-Plan Plan.

Cool shot.................I cycled that route last June..............I was sure glad I geared my bicycle a little lower than I normally use.
There is also quite a bit less snow than last year.

The difference between the images we mere mortals take, and Steve's shots, is even the Jet airliners stay out of the way for him. None of those pesky lines across the sky to interfere with his pics.

To refresh the intent of this thread. This thread was created to simply be a compact showcase to allow each member one shot at showing off their bike. So each has an equal voice. It wasn't the same as the "Show your scoot" with multiple pictures and discussions.

Ok, here it is. Post one, and only one BEST picture of your BMW motorcycle. Rules are below:

• Motorcycle types must fall in the intended board catagories of r1100s, r1200s, Boxercup, or HP2S. None of those touring rigs that should be over on the BMWSporttouring board and keep trying to sneak in here. Or Ducati crap and stuff like that.
• You can post only one picture of each bike you have owned. Not a bike you looked at, or simply found on the internet because it was cool. YOU must have owned it.
• You can always post a better picture, but then you must DELETE the older picture and posting. No one can have two or more of their same bike at the same time.
• Every rule violator must buy every board member he/she meets a beer of their choice, every time they ask for one, regardless of cost.

This is the spot to show off your one best shot of your motorcycle(s), and hopefully the thread will stay compact enough (if people edit properly by DELETING) that people do not have to weed through tons of pictures and blather to enjoy it. This is not intended to replace the "Show Your Scoot" thread, but just a "best of the best" thread.

You can/should post a little explanation as to why you like it and why it's your favorite. Memories, landscape, whatever.

Unfortunately, after a post reaches a certain age it cannot be deleted or edited. You can save space if people do not copy the photo posted by another to simply make a comment.
