Any major problems in your bikes life?

Did U get all those miles on adventures or was it a commuter?

Photo

I only have two of the bike since I bought it. This one would be much nicer if it had been fall here. I'm planning a trip up to the mountains within the next month. This one is just west of the Haw River on US 64. The road, which parallels US64 was built to appease a land owner way back when they "improved" 64 to 4 lane divided hwy. You can't tell from the photo, but it dead ends where I'm standing, it's a nice place to take a break.

When I was much younger, we use to use this stop as a beer/smoke break. They day we stopped to snap this picture was the 1st time in 28 years of riding that there was someone else there, an older Harley guy drinking a beer. It was his first ride since hitting a deer. I took a picture of his bike too, but since it's R11/R12/BCR/HP2 only...

I'll try to get an artsy shot at that time.

...this one is of the R12S on the track... Tom Montano right behind me.

...and this one of the trusty R11S, in full dressing, Squid-Hunting at Palomar Mountain, South Grade.

Sadly, by the rules, I am not allowed to post pictures of the GS...

Of course this is my favorite. Great weather, early season storm, fresh snow.

Both those last two are awesome. Man, ALL of you have much better photos than I do.
I think I've become too much of a track rat.

No major problems- only stupid ones, like loose battery cable, misrouted O2 sensor wire, blown fuel pump relay. Lately (133k) I've had some temperamental turn signal buttons (the contacts are delicate) my clock is long gone. Mostly routine fluid changes.

Probably 70/30% adventure (2-up)/ commuting.

Leaning towards adding a R12ST or GS for my 2-up stuff. Just can't get her on her own bike. Packing a tent, sleeping pads (2), sleeping bags (2) clothes, food, tools and such is a real pain.
