Just look at what has happened. Truly the rise of the machines. All those millions of forgotten Christmas Casio keyboards have been reborn as IPads and commanded their owners to do their autoplay work for them. They're not fooling me.

Secretly I have been working on using one of my laptops as a Hammond B3 organ (Native Insturments, German software house) with great results, but its an honest endeavor and through a 122 Leslie it sounds real close (and it's a couple hundred pounds lighter).

I've been ionized, but I'm OK now.

But ya still gotta lug the Leslie around - can't reproduce that sound.

Absolutely correct !

No problem: they aren't very heavy in comparison to the mighty B. I use them mainly with a foot controller/preamp that matches four of the main Leslie groups. My main complaint about the software/XK-1 emulations is that they don't have half way spin up/down memories when you really give them a workout.

i just got this thing for my iphone, it lets me play my guitar through a variety of amp and pedal simulators, and listen to the output through headphones, totally awesome!
