Custom Fairings on single spark
Hey fellas, thought I would share these pics with you. Its a bike thats on ebay
that has some interesting custom mods that I've never seen before. Quite good looking I think. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1292554672.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1292554696.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1292554722.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1292554761.jpg |
whats that color called, DDR?
|
well it certainly is as ugly as DD
|
Seller calls that red Henna with black. Seems to be a custom color. Don't care much about the
color but those extra side fairings seem quite interesting. |
Could have done with photos taken further away from the bike
|
If the owner wanted a Honda Pacific Coast, why didn't he just buy one? Oh and the color is DDP.
|
I still think it looks cool. What is DDP?

I especially like the carpet on the aft side of the tank, or maybe the carbon protector is growing a fungus, or hair from some spilled testosterone.
Yes, Pacific Coast in DDP |
Thats a Wunderlich rubber tank protector not carpet.
|
Cage- looks like a slow day at work for ya.
not a big fan of the bike mods, btw. why bother with more plastic? |

Henna red was a BMW stock color on 81 R65LS, and non USA 88 R100RS.Back in the early 90's I made a R1050 RS out of a stock R80. I ordered a Henna red fairing from Germany and had the tank and 3/4 seat pan painted to match by Holt BMW. Wish I had never sold that bike. tjs
|
Is Henna red really that fugly?
|
Looked nice on the R65LS and super nice on the 1050RS I had. tjs
