It would be neat if BMW made that bike with the RS/RT, 95 hp engine and underseat exhaust of the S.

The image is small, but the bike looks interesting. Perhaps the homely R1200LT that was posted on this web site is really this bike in disguise. One can only hope.

It is a somewhat improved Roadster, but no replacement for an "S". The next generation BMW sport machine must at least retain the frame and fairing, and the forged pistons/higher CR. I am holding out hope for an improved BMW sportbike, and for a GP racer.
I also pine for a VR-engined Buell. ;-/ |
