serial number location(s)?

On a Boxer Cup replica, where should I be able to find the serial number? Is it only in a single location or are there multiple places where it might be hidden?

the VIN # is on the upper subframe. if you are talking about the series number, I am pretty sure they only did that for the original 150 launched in 2004, after that it was just the VIN. I had an 04' BCR and I do recall the last 3 of the VIN and the series number didn't match.

somebody will probably post the VIN to series number lineup

it's on a plate right behind the front shock adjuster, behind the top triple clamp

resurrecting this old thread; there was a plastic glued on vin number on the right cradle down by the right footpeg, but these fall off etc with wind, weather and washing. isn't there suppose to be an engraved vin on the steering head? I can't seem to find it

i may be old but not blind...

+1 All I've seen (USA) were riveted on but that didn't keep me from losing them...The VIN was on the upper subframe by the steering head on all other R-bikes I've looked at..
