Hey.... I just traded my KTM 950 Adventure for a 2001 BMW R1100S BCP in hopes of a bit more street friendly street bike. I have dirt bikes and couldn't think of any good reason to take my beautiful black Adventure off road..... So the hunt for an interesting street bike lead me to a BMW. It's on it's way from California to Ohio and hope to have it soon

I have a 12S and in the process of adding some stuff to it. I had a 1150RS but not an 11S.

I grew up in Lafayette and my parents still live there so just around the corner. Maybe we can meet up sometime.

Ya if I had the time to do it. I was lucky to have a truck driver buddy in Cali when the deal was made. He's gonna be in SC on Wed with the Beemer. so I may ride my KTM down there and leave it for him to take back to California and ride the BMW back to Ohio with a slight detour through Deals Gap to ride the Tail of the Dragon.

Right in the Dragon neighborhood is the Cherohala Skyway. More fun IMHO than the Dragon. Your 11S will love it.
