Accessory Plug Location
I have the BMW plug that is mounted on the left side of the frame between the seat and footpeg, but I want to add one on the front of the bike to plug in my tankbag. Preferably in the space under the instruments, or in that general under the fairing area. I don't want to drill any holes in the bodywork. Has anyone done this? If so, pics would be a plus. Thanks.

Fuse box from Eastern Beaver under the left side fairing on my R1200s, runs an always hot cable that plugs in to the tank bag via a Powerlet tank bag adaptor kit. When nothings plugged in inside the tank bag, no current flows. But when I stop for gas on a long trip, my cell phone keeps charging, and if I need a compressor, I can use it.

Like so? Right side the R1200S. I built a simple bracket out of aluminum and purchased a waterproof marine 12V outlet. I attached the bracket by putting black silicone on the back of the aluminum and then zap strapping it through existing holes in the structure there.
