HP2 Sport - Weak Rear Brake

My rear break pretty much sucks. I had a similar situation with my K12R (even weaker). Had the K12R fixed. The spring was binding on something. anyhow, is this common amoung my fellow HP2 Sport brethren? Any fixes??

I never thought the rear brake on my HP2S was all that weak. I'm thinking that you guys have far to great an expectation of a rear brake. My rear brake would get into the anti-skid mode with very little effort.

Personally think there might be a large variation on the fit / factory lube or lack thereof on the bush these assy. rotate on.

I installed the upgrade on my R12 and it is great... but I also wonder what it would have felt like if there was proper lubrication on the bush.

On mine originally when applying the rear brake i had to push the brake lever forward and down for it to work proper if that makes sense. After flushing and bleeding the brake I can now hit the lever however i feel and it operates properly. I have no explanation as to why that is but thats how it is now.

Be sure to drop some oil on the pedal pivot point every once in a while.
