R12S running light conversion module ?
 

Does anyone make a plug-and-play module that will convert the rear signal lights on an R1200S to running lights ? I've done a little search and dont find such an animal.

I have not seen any such module. I believe such a module would be incompatable with the CANBUS system.

I agree. It's either going to be a "programming" change or it's never going to work. Probably the latter.

Yes, the Pirate's Lair thing is a led conversion for your turn signals.

I may go to that but it's not really what I wanted. I am not such a big fan of the led lights and their very-directional visibility.

I was hoping to retain the stock rear signal lighting and simply convert them to running lights. I can do this by making my own little circuit but I was hoping to avoid all that effort.

This sort of thing would not have to necessarily interfere with the Canbus system.

If anyone knows of such a module, I'd appreciate the info.
