yep, with these so-called energy drinks (that NONE of the racers drink by the way) the silly season's traditions have changed slightly.

regarding: "Reed, while still collecting L&M Yamaha money, but leaving the team, immediately appeared on the internet riding a Suzuki. L&M docked him a large portion of his salary."

the amount was $750,000. An agreement was reached and neither party is talking. rumor has it that Chad got most, if not all of it. Larry's (L of L&M) actions have supposedly made many riders very hesitant to work with him. Can't blame 'em.

this week's fun factor is Joe Gibbs switching from Yamahas to Suzukis, despite being partially sponsored by Toyota. Conflict because they both make cars? Not according to Toyota, who basically says "We don't consider Suzuki a competitive car manufacturer." Ouch!


MXA missed one piece though: Dungey was out shooting the press release fotos on the KTM recently. "Recently" as in before October 1st.
