OT: GoPro video, stewart, la coliseum

here's the first few laps of the la supercross with james stewart.
the guy out front initially is jake weimer.
22 in white is chad reed.

few things to notice:
stewie is running pirelli tires on a slick, crappy track. pirelli mx tires are also crap, they're trying but it ain't happenin' yet.
he's also running the rear way too stiff which is causing a lot of his skating in the whoops and having to damn near stop and picnic in the corners to keep the front from sliding out. he can't use the berms because he'll lose the front end, combo of tires and rear shock.

check out reed's bike as he gets past, notice that the bike gets better front wheel grip, chad is on the throttle sooner and the bike as a whole is much softer.

fun piece to watch, just to hear stewie on the rev limiter so often...and it's fun to hear the announcer when everybody has the throttles chopped. (like when they go into the first turn off the start) and in various corners, once they get spread out.

at about the 3:45 mark, stewie punts weimer out of the way.
at about the 4:15 mark, stewie punts stewie out of the way.

Speaking of cbs, the coverage was crap for the Dodger stadium race.

They only showed heat race 1, no heat race 2, no LCQ, and no Lites coverage.

Way to go cbs...you suck...

Is it me or does it seem like, if you are top in this sport you have about 2-3 years. I remember Damon Bradshaw years ago...he grew up here, my sister new him....it seems like he went to the front and then he was gone. He was living large here in charlotte and the last I heard he lives on a farm in montana.
