I thought and make light of it, and that you’d enjoy the pictures.

Sheesh, did I wander into parf by accident?

Nice Ape. Ive been on the hunt for a nice gen2 tuono but no luck. Seems the best ones are on the other side of the country. The MV Brutale caught my eye, but i am on the fence about the reliability of MV. My friend had an F4 which spent more time being repaired than ridden. Although I heard pretty good things about the Brutale 990.

@tirefrier, thanks! I am actually selling the Aprilia it has 6.6k miles and the only change from stock are tires and the exhaust. It is a beast! Only selling because I am in between jobs. Let me know if you interested since we local enough!

Btw: I owned a brutale 910 for a few years, wicked fast bike, but the rear hub bearing is a constant issue, and the electronic can be problematic if still running factory spu. Only problem while riding was lack of wind protection!

The RSV is a fantastic bike and yours is a beautiful example. Had i been in the market for a sport bike at this moment, it would be my first and by far the only choice. I am afraid that if I go with the RSV I will never go back to riding the R11S or the Bimota YB10.

I am looking for an upright hence a Tuono (or maybe a Brutale). I believe the 990 had the electronic and rear hub issues resolved, but a bit research would have to be done to say that with certainty.

@tirefriar - Good luck on your 990 search! There were also a few Tuono for sale in Orange County Craigslist, should check them out!

@Mitch1100 - Thanks for the clip!! Love the sound of those L series 240z! And Les Collin's engines, should make some good power! I posted few pics of mine in the Show your Cage thread: OT What is your cage?

My 2000 R1100S. 36,000 miles and about three years of ownership. Check out the link. I enjoy riding the ole gal and prefer it over my R1100RS, except when I ride long distance. Be warned there are other photos included with this link if you scroll through but nothing of real interest, just more motos including my RS, oh and skiing pics. ( I am a career ski teacher but it's not all I do.) I added some photos below, didn't realize it was so easy to do.

These are all the bikes I currently own. Guess I like BMW. The R1100S and the R1100RS are the same paint scheme. Funny, I didn't realize that until later. The S has taken me all the way from Utah to Iowa. I have it set up with Rapid Dog bar backs and an Aeroflow at times although I have other windscreens I use more. I also have a Suburban Machinery peg lowering kit. ( Uninstalled. ) It has a three pipe GPR exhaust.
