My bone stock SBX
Here's some photos of my bone stock SBX. I'm planning on a Staintune, FIM chip, InDuct, heated hand grips, and a corbin / ray's seat.

Re: Show Your Scoot
Yep that sure does look like W.A. all the field bins and tents, seems like agquip . I can't see the plate is that some new kind of anti photo cover? nice bike the mods are the ones I'd make, actually I have except for the chip, which I'll do as soon as I work out how hard it is to get the No's they want and ,how long it will take to do.

I just purchased a 2002 Harley Road Glide on Saturday. It is replacing my '00 Road King and a '00 K1200LT. I thought I would add a picture from the H-D internet brochure. I don't have any pictures of my S, but it is an '01 special edition in light yellow and black with graphics that some love and some don't.

I absolutely love the Scura.... I had a spring break in the transmission at 700 miles..but besides that, its been great. The best way I can describe it..is that it has a modern, quality feel to it, yet retains that old cafe race edge. I just expected a rougher package but was pleasently surprised by the refinment.....they got it right.
The handling is light years ahead of the old 1100 sport with a very light steering. The beemer (gs, s, R) with that wonderful front end, is still the best handling street bike I have ever ridden but...I really have no complaints with the guzzi. The guzzi motor is a gem and really surprised me with how much poop it has. I do hope to get it on the dyno soon, for a real comparison. The beemer feels like it has a broader power curve with a bit more poop down low...where the guzzi hits hard at 5000 and pulls like a mule up to its 8000 red line. The scura also is geared tall so it feels like its hardly working at 85. I did do a few roll ons with my buddy on his 1100R...I beat him every time but.....we were sort of sloppy in our countdown so we will do it again and be more precise. |

Oh yes its a great colour combo ErricZ
But what is the "sacred ground" you refer to? When I think "sacred ground" it illicits thoughts of the BMW motorcycle factory in Berlin, which is definitely not the content of your snapshots. |

"Sacred Ground" is Fort Hancock at the end of Sandy Hook in New Jersey. Missle silos and what not ..... but it's a huge park at this point.
