BMW's First Hyperbike?

BMW S1000RR rates a comparison to the big boys & comes out smiling. I got the ZX-14 now I need the 1000RR, Busa's too ugly. Yeah I know this is a twin thing here but it's a pretty eclectic crowd, read on.

to be fair the S1000RR is a "proper" sports bike where the ZZR14 and the 'Busa are lardy but fast bikes. I'd not put them in the same test to be fair as the BMW would nail them every which way.

However, if I had a 1000 miles to cover quickly the keys to the Busa or the ZZR would be in my sweaty mitt

It would be interesting to see what a k1600 drivetrain, tuned to it's potential, and dressed equally to a K1300S would do in that segment.

K1300S is already the logical competitor in that class from BMW, but 1600ccs might offer a bit more engine potential.
