And when you think everyone is an assshole!
Riding along today on my RC51 checking her out after a good tune up. All the sudden she dies on me. WTF, it's a Honda!
It's over 90 degrees in the middle of HW44. Check her out, everything seems just fine. Bike won't start. Called AAA, "Sorry your premium membership does not cover bike towing", "I'm pretty sure I had bike towing in the package" I go. "Yes you did but it's not valid in Florida, you must pay cash for the tow". WTF, and I agreed to pay. Then a light bulb goes off as I'm waiting for the truck to show up, "check the obvious dummy!". Opened the gas tank, shacked the bike, it seems there's no gas! But the fuel light did not go off! Less than two minutes goes by and a guy on a red Mustang convertible stops, backs up, and asked me if I needed help. "I might just run out of gas" I go. He opens his trunk and gives a 2 gallon gas jar. Pour the gas in, crank the bike, stars just fine! The guy did not want a penny. Called AAA telling all is good.Apparently it's pretty common on those bikes that the fuel sensor goes bad...issue being it's connected to the fuel pump so $$$ to change it, I'll just keep an eye on the trip-meter from now on. I'm the biggest misanthrope ever created, I make Dr. House seem like Mother Theresa, but goddamn sometimes some people ain't that bad! ![]()

Most a$#holes don't need any help determining that they are one. I've only come across a few on this forum and they already know that they are so, I hope they aren't who shows up when i need help. Got a big run to do with my crew today.

Damn a 1911 that's some heavy weight, I prefer my g19, lighter, smaller & a butt load more pellets. I save the 1911 for sunday go to meetings stuff.

No, I was just being silly. I've never been out of the States but I know you guys have all kinds of cool vehicles we never get here. We've only had the Transit a few years so it seemed funny that it would be the choice of hoodlums in Florida. I'd love to import one of those 4WD Sprinters though.

On the handgun thing. Just googled gun related deaths in the US and it's around 10,000 annually, not a bad way to keep the population down. They don't have to worry here, they bought all our gun back in the 1990ies after the Port Arthur killings which in my opinion was orchestrated. (Look it up) Where already on the slippery down slide. |

Yeah, the unarmed citizen thing only works if everyone's honest & the govt. isn't corrupt. Doesn't appear to me to exist anywhere.
p.s. nice Colt |

Good to hear about the good folk.... was he a biker?
On the guns and death...we in the US have such a large number of the most stupid people in the world...you need to own one....you never know....if there is a revolt....then the retards start breaking down your door....trying to take everthing...Ie....look at what happened after hurricane Kartrina.....and what the people did.....then fast forward to how the Japanese behaved after the tsunami..nuff said. But if you break down the numbers...its mostly trouble makers killing each other...in most cases, if you will be killed it will be by someone you know.. Lane

Kieran is a very likable guy, but he uses too many opportunities to go with the anti gun sentiment. Most of us would never even bring up the guns except we won't sit silent. Oh well, at least it isn't that other guy with the brain worm from Australia, he couldn't let go...
