I attribute it to the TB sync and valve adjust. When I opened it up the valves I couldn't even get the gauges in they were so tight and the bike vibrated pretty bad. Afterward all the vibration was gone. The new spark plugs may have helped a little too. Everything else was some other things that I have just done. My bike has about 46,700 miles on it now. I bought it with 44k from a guy in northern Va who had it for like 3 months before buying a Japanese bike. I'm the 4th owner. Virtually none of the
PM that was supposed to be done last year had been taken care of. I have a full history for it and bearings and throttle cable was replaced about 6k ago. I imagine the cable stretching put the TBs out of balance.

I actually just put the new o2 sensor and air filter on yesterday so they havent really been accounted for.

More fuel in the gas tank by drilling the neck has to be where the extra mpg came from. I'm just kidding of course, Mr Carr. I'm thinking he's counting trailer mileage in the equation.
