Rear Tire Technical Question
I would like to put a new Dunlop 207RR on the rear of my S but they don't come in a 170/60X17 size, only 180/55X17.
Has anyone put a 180/55X17 on a 5" wheel. Just curious. Thanks, Bill |

Bill,
It can be done, but doing so will change the profile (or radius) of the tread area. The tire will not work as well. It will probably steer "weird". I am sure Dunlop will have the right size out soon. There are too many bikes out with 5" wheels not to make that size. Check this month's Sport Rider magazine for a better explanation. Harold |
