Question Wunderlich's "low-seat"

hi, i am very short (5'6") with short legs, (inseam 28-29") so in some situations (in some stop signs, red lights) + litlle oil, etc i get very nervous, so i want to change the seat of my bike, Wunderlich offers a seat that lowers 2" (they claim) the height of the bike, does anybody have this seat?
Carlos.

Sorry, I have the normal height "Ergo" but not the low. If the low is at all like the normal (and I am sure it is, on information and belief), it will be fantastic. There are some nice people at Wunderlich in Germany who speak English, feel free to call them.

Being on the short end of the stick I would also be interested in a lower seat. I have logged 13000K miles with the stock seat but would be a bit more confident if I could touch a little better. I don't have delusions of flat-footing, but it would be nice if I could push the bike backward without having to get off the bike first.

Does this seat keep you from sliding up into the tank and crushing the jewels

Wide seat

Hi Carlos,

I'm on the Short Bikers List (I'm 5'2") and several of those riders have custom seats. One thing they've pointed out in the past is that you have to make sure that they dont make the seat wider as well as lower. Often they do this to make the seat feel more comfortable, but it certainly doesnt help when you're trying to get more of your feet on the ground. Just make sure you specify that the seat should not be made wider when you order it.

Cheers
Jenny
(Yep, I've got the stock seat)
