Help Diagnosing lights on an 2004 R1100S
Hey folks,
I am trying to determine what the bike is telling me in this video.. I have taken it to Bavarian Cycle Works in SF a couple of times and there is no blink as I ride away. As soon as I park the bike and come back to it. This indication takes place. What do you think? Thanks! |

It's the ABS error code. You need to re-set it. There is a procedure written here somewhere. It happend to me twice, both times due to a high speed bump, the first one actually bent my front wheel a bit. If it happens again after yopu re-set it, than you must check the ABS sensor and control module.

It's telling you to rip out all that abs plumbing & find out you really do have brakes.

I figure it was the normal startup stuff. But the fast blink part is new. Once the bike rolls a bit the abs light goes out. No other indication of a problem.
Thanks |
