Wish me luck!!!
Well, here it is...My final christening as a serious biker...Me and three friends are leaving for the Alps on Wednesday. This might not seem as a big deal for riders in the Continent but it sure means a hell lot for us since we are living in Cyprus! After two sea crossings we (hope to) arrive in the biking nirvana of endless mountain roads.
Thanks for all the info you've given so far for the trip and for the bike. Ride safely Andros |

I had the good fortune of riding through the Alps for two weeks two years ago (on a rented K75). Wonderful, wonderful riding. Keep track of all the mountain passes (it is fun to reflect).
I found a copy of John Hermann's book very helpful. Best wishes! |

And BTW, the last issue of the english magazine BIKE has a test between the S, Honda VTR1000 and Ducati 900SS. Guess who the winner is...

Good luck! May the weather be fine and the Gods of Traction never fail you.
I have been following the Bike long term tests for a while. The S is doing quite nicely. It is a change from the usual tests where the S is bagged. The guy riding it is having so much fun and is appreciating the fine virtues of the S. Cheers TREVOR ![]() |
