BMW selling Husqvarna

The site is a BMW blog. Austrian Pierer Industries is buyer. The report indicates that BMW is "realigning the Motorrad business".

entrepreneur super guy Stefan Pierer is the checkbook behind it.
he already owns a majority stake in ktm (he's the current CEO).
i think they still build huskies in the ktm factory at night. or maybe that's husaberg. not sure.

pierer bbq's with deider "i own red bull" mateschitz all the time. i've heard they're even into jet swapping.
stefan has got some serious connections and big-boy coinage.

friggin' austrians, they're taking over everything!

Yep, them be Mr. Goldfinger's digs.
I liked Blofeld's mountain retreat from 'On His Majesty's Secret Service' better.
Still, no candle can be held to a typical DUMB, though

Tony, another cool retreat is in Diamonds are forever...Willard Whites house outside of Vegas, a lot of people did not recognize him, Willard was Jesse Dean, from the jesse dean sausage company. That was one of my favorites. Goldfinger next, and Live and Let die, prolly third...but I like all of them all.

Be safe,
Lane

That was just one of his businesses where he converted gold bullion to Rolls Royce body panels and back. The digs in the movie was his stud farm in Kentucky, which was nice with Pussy Galore...

Jimmy Dean was a fine man of extraordinary character.
Here's a snippet ... and the bit about the Muppets speaks volumes.
Funny how if you let people stand on your shoulders, you become taller too.

there was a radio commercial for Jimmy Dean frozen breakfasts that said:

"The eggs are fresh and natural.
The hash browns are from fine idaho potatoes.
And the sausage...well...that comes straight from Jimmy Dean."

eewwwwww!

here's a little interview about Stefan Pierer purchase:

BMW did such a fine job with Husky, just as BMW did marketing the S bikes.
