I'm looking for a little direction before I tear the right control pod and the rear brake linkage apart to find out why my brake light is always on.
The S was at the dealer this week for the fuel line recall and a number of other recalls; air intake, high handle bar check, and rear brake linkage check. I noticed the brake light the next morning as I was getting ready for a ride. It is on all the time. I have the euro light switch on the bike as well. Has anyone had this problem? Any suggestions? I do not have time to take the S back to the dealer, 40 miles away, as I'm getting ready to ride to the Trenton Rally. Thanks, John

UPDATE
Dug in on the problem this morning. I went after the rear brake linkage as that was where the dealer was working. There is a small metal contact plate that touches the brake linkage when the pedal is pressed. The plate was pushed to the side and needless to say was not contacting the pedal linkage.
About 5 minutes of wire mapping and I was back on the road. See ya at the Rally! -john
