2004 Boxer Cup

Need advice please on a rear stand for my 2004 Boxer Cup. Is a single sided one with holder into rear wheel sufficient, or double sided under rear pegs. It is just for garaging checking oil etc so rear wheel is off ground.

I got a Wunderlich which works well but is not in stock right now. Maybe you can find something else that works. Good luck!

This one is from your neck of the woods: S-Lifter Motorcycle Stand BMW R1100S
Don't have any info on it, however.

When I had my R11S I bought the BMW shop stand. Pricey, but worked well.

I highly recommend the BMW/Pitbull stand. It works with or without the belly pan installed (I use it for my 03 BCR). They are no longer available through BMW or Pitbull, but they do pop up on this forum occasionally. I bought mine used and was able to find the required spool kit through my local dealer.

Appreciate help, may have to get one made, because of belly pan.
Still trying to work out which model my BCR is, as it appears 2004s were blue white, made late 2004.

Mitch1100-

The BMW/Pitbull stand does work with the BCR belly pan installed.

BMW r50. Is that lotus beside your bike? A buddy of mine has one...fun car!

On the stand, I wish I had the pit bull, that you use with the pan still on. I have the wunderlich, I believe, ....pan has to be removed.

You would be correct! It's an '06 Elise. Really, really fun car, but a little obnoxious for a DD. The bike is more practical in my opinion, at least in AZ. haha.

1100S--No need to remove pan for Wunderlich stand. See photos in link in my msg #2, above.

I have one of the Wuderlich stands also (03 BCR). It isn't the most convenient to use. But, it's easy to remove the belly pan, while on the stand, for oil changes etc.
