Now redo it as the new Wasser S and I'm game!

WOW! I was wondering what might compell me to trade "up" the HP1258S! :D
Obviously a handmade machine based on the hexhead, but did they sleeve it down to make it a 900? I do like the historic paint and design cues. It reminds me of the NEW Norton Commando in approach. Sweet, and probably more cash than it can really justify! http://www.autoblog.com/2013/05/24/bmw-concept-90-motorcycle-debuts-at-villa-deste/ |

Funny that they'd test that thing at Willow Springs...
|
If they make it, I'm in!
|
I love it, but my big behind won't fit on that.:(
|
Looks way nicer than my original R100S. Are you sure it's an RT engine as the original S was the R90S as it shows on the bodywork. I'm not sure on the 900 but the 1000S/RS motor was a higher output than the R/RT motors.

Sorry gents an absolute pigs ear and that being polite.
My best suggestion for the two designers Should have gone to Specsavers - YouTube |
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder...and is completely a matter of individual aesthetic preferences...
At my advanced age, it's completely impossible that I would ever buy a cafe style bike. But in my admittedly biased opinion, this retro mod style machine is EFFING AWESOME!!! :D |
Yep, looks Bloody Awesome to me...
As i started riding bikes in 1970, cafe racers are in my blood... Jeremy |
I know why they did it, but the one thing that's bothering me is the way they added that engine badge. For some reason its bothering me. I like the look of the rest of the bike a lot actually.
There's a video in this link that shows the bike on the track. It looks pretty good in live action. |
...movie time...!

The Concept Ninety has the 110bhp air/oil-cooled Boxer twin from the previous generation of BMW R1200GS but combines it with a pared back style and a front cowling similar to that of the original 1973 R90S; it even has the same Daytona Orange paintscheme and the short rear seat. ...so..., it should be a DOHC R120S... ;)

BMW Paul Smart.
http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1369488874.jpg A very special bike....beautiful.... but almost impossible to ride in a full race crouch all the time. I suspect this BMW would be that same way. That said, if you can afford garage art, which I can't, then this would be a wonderful edition. I still miss Mr. Smart.....hope he's still tucked away in Linville. |

i hope each of the guys in this photo are 7+ feet tall. otherwise i don't see myself fitting on the bike. |
Nice looking art project, but there's just something not right about the rake angle of the front fork. Looks more like a chopper design than a sportbike chassis. BMW should have done a colaberation with a chassis designer and a conceptual artist instead of just the artist route. Maybe it handles great, but I doubt we will ever know for sure since that was probably never the point anyway.
