Rear caliper bolt hitting brake rotor?
Remounting my rear wheel after a tire change and am a little baffled by the caliper bolts. It appears that the bolts are too long and are hitting the rotor. I have checked that the wheel spacer is in place, the washer is under the head of the bolt. I am careful pulling things like this apart but I am clearly missing something. Any thoughts?

Not the original bolts. Not sure if the carbon fibre wheel hugger is original - the bolts are the right length with the hugger installed... forgot it the first time.

All resolved. The hugger made it all fit perfectly. Feeling somewhat stupid though...
All back together now. |

The Hugger, and on mine the front bolt it a couple of threads longer than the back bolt. It's because the front one holds the speed sensor bracket, if you put them in the wrong place, yep, it rubs on the rotor. AMHIK...

The welding machine is a thunderbolt. An older 240 Volt AC/DC. I have had it for almost 30 years. Works great.

Cool,
Miller makes good products. I have an old Miller Blue Charger engine driven DC rig for heavy gauge welding projects.
