That's the standard ego-setup for hot sportys, a 41MM Mikuni flatside...the red thingie is a nice long tuned-for-torque velocity stack. There will be a minimal round basketweave air filter body with an electrostatic foam element in it when done.
I think jimmie f would have been proud:)
