Convert the 'S' to a Rockster?

I'm thinking the new Rockster looks pretty cool, and I could use a good naked bike with Terminator headlights! Anybody seen a conversion or know what would be involved? Change to lower gearing perhaps?

Thanks Joe! I was thinking of something even a little Cruder, with even less plastic and maybe a straight 2 into 1 exhaust! S resale is so bad, I'm thinking nothing I do could hurt!

Pretty cool! The best part about these projects is you can start with a mildly recked sport bike. A friend recently dropped his Aprilla Futura, the parts where going to cost $7,200 so he practically gave it to the dealer who I suspect is off on some venture such as this. Wish I had snared that one!

Looks to me like one of the main problems is the instrument cluster. Also, what about all the electronics in the fairing? Where does that go?

On the mutant S - what happened to the air intake?

Would someone please do one of these bikes with a better looking headight setup? IMO the examples - rockster and whatever the other one is - show what not to do with a headlight...

I think its more of a mutant GS. Look at the Paralever arm, and lack of fuse box under the left side of the GS tank. Just my simple observations. It still Kicks ass!

A quick look and that fuel tank makes me think GS too, but then those headers are from the RS/RT. Regardless, it’s a bit too pretty and over done for my taste. Spray-can flat black, or flat charcoal paint job, a real solo seat (such as a race-version after market fiberglass version made for the R1 etc.) dump the headlight cowl and engine spoiler and then it would start to look like a respectable street fighter.

NAKED BIKE

I admire any body who can create something different to any body else without looking through a parts catalogue and quoting a credit card number.Heres to more creative minds out there, even if you like it or not.
