Well! Dang!

Bike arrived today and I went to Customs to see if all was OK. Well. NOT!

A metal pallet came loose inside the container slid and hit my bike.
Insurance will pay damages but I have to wait till the part comes in all the way from Germany. I guess mean while I will have the damaged part fixed by a local paint shop. Is the paint color code on the bike some where? What do you think?

Man, hate to see that. I hate shipping companies....from horseless carriage to allied...I have never found a lot of professionalism in that industry...but have paid for it.

Look on the bright side, you can keep the new parts for later if/when you decided to sell it. Ride it like it is without fear of future scrapes and such (and less subject to theft since some of the costly parts are worthless). The only part you'll be looking at anyway is the dash and the view ahead.
