This is your bike?

BMW did not put the center stand on purposely because the bike sits higher than a standard R1100S. It has the "sport" suspension, such as that is.
The above is an R1100SA Sport edition.

So, although the dealer might get you one, it also may not work.

Know what you have first. All R1100S bikes were not built the same.

Looking at the angle of the rear boot it might have a regular length (not sport) aftermarket arm on it, which means its been dropped back to centerstandable height..

When I added the sport arm to my bike the centerstand still worked for checking oil, just didn't lift rear tire off ground, also became less than solid, took little pressure to rock it off stand...

There is aftermarket center stands for that purpose. And if the original stand does not lift off the wheels there is a nice book available ...

That would be awesome. Let me know. You can PM me with details.

Thanks, guys!

Sorry if I don't know MY bike. I got it last night at 9pm. The original owner has kept all service records, all the way back to the original sales receipt for the bike. I didn't see anything to indicate it wasn't a R1100S. I can't find any indications on another model or options that make it different from all R1100S's.

Thanks!
