brand new r11s owner

Found this forum and have been looking for any insights for my new to me r11s. It is a 2000 with 25k miles and just had the dealer 24k service. So I am good to go at the start nut want to make sure I keep up on everything.

First thing first... I need to figure out the rear lift situation. Looking at the Abba Lift, in conjunction with the Harbor Freight Wheel Chock.

Quick question about wheel mount and balancing with a single sided swing arm wheel... can your local Cycle Gear properly mount and balance them? I typically bring my wheel in after I remove it. Just need to figure that out. Let me know any tips and links that are good.

Thanks!!!!

Hi kevlarian,
I get my rear done at Car tyre place, the only what is specific they need to have thin spindle.
Most likely balancing will be fine (unless you'd touch them weights) as tyres usually perfectly balanced as how they are made, so no change to be expected.

Welcome to the asylum. Yes, Cycle Gear can mount & balance your tires with no problem. they've done many of mine in the past when they used to have good prices. unfortunately that doesn't seem true anymore & I've gone back to mail order for the best prices. Be aware they have a policy of installing new valve stems every time they change tires so if you have angled or metal stems be sure to tell them not to change them, they took off my angled stems & I didn't notice right away, when I did they had disappeared & I was unable to get them back.

Exhaust are Two Brothers Titanium series.

Got to know about the tire situation. Is the an alternative to the Abba Superbike Stand that I could look into? Thanks again for advise.

You could always get a stock center stand. Cheaper and easy to use.

Interesting looking at the aftermarket paralever the rear looks jacked up but the angle of the bevel drive says not
