OT - Adobe flashplayer 13 and Mac problems
 
Hopefully the recent upgrade to Adobe Flash Player 13 hasn't affected anyone else. I have an older Mac which has since been upgraded to Lion 10.7.5 operating system. Three days ago I got one of those automatic advisories that Adobe Flash Player 13 upgrade was available.

videos from Youtube, MotoGP, anywhere stopped playing, error message "plug-in failure" was the helpful (not) message. Finally, after retrying to load flash player a couple of times and many other things, I found the thing that worked from Mozilla, basically a flash player uninstaller and a link to load flash player 12.

That worked, I can view videos again.

I have had the same problem, running Windows 7 and Firefox.

Install Click to Flash plugin and set preference to html5
Good workaround.
