B and B chip from Greece

Has anyone used a Eprom chip for a R1100S, sold on Ebay as a B and B chip from Greece?

I had a B&B, also called BBPower (BBPowerchip, Chip, Tuning, Eprom, Chip-Tuning, Chiptuning), chip in my '99 R1100S, but it came from Germany. It had a five-position program controlled by a short wire that could be plugged into a combination of slots to achieve 5 levels of performance programming. It worked extremely well in concert with a K&N filter setup and a Staintune exhaust, baffle in or out.

Neither of these Eprom tuning chips are the BBPowerchip from BBPowerchip, Chip, Tuning, Eprom, Chip-Tuning, Chiptuning

I would be concerned about what chip you are buying at that price point. The real BB Powerchip is 240 Euros, I had one shipped to the US last summer, and I really really like it.

Looks like the guy can be joined at Advrider forum.
Maybe he has been able to make a cheap copy of the BB power chip.

He's also on UKGSer and I think has a few people 'testing' it.

Ever seen the cowboy films when the guy comes into town with the wagon selling bottles of god knows what that cures coughs/colds to the wart on your finger!!! Well here's your man,there's a no fix all solution it all depends on your set up,what kind of filter/pipe and if you have the all important induct because without it your wasting your time.

With all the bells and whistles and set up on dyno with a PC you'll just see 100hp if your lucky,but it will rev way quicker what this guy is selling is a quack remedie best of luck,but if you use the search button it's all been done before.

I'm staggered people are taking a chip without any sort of guarantee or protection of what it might do to their bikes, just because it was offered as a free test.
