OT: Big cuts to Australia Post. Sending good vibes to Chewie and hoping he dodges the
Not good news for Posties in Oz, talk of mail deliveries being reduced from 5 days a week to 2 days a week and no prior warning to employees.
I really hope things are ok for you Jon. http://www.abc.net.au/news/2014-06-08/australia-post-to-cut-hundreds-of-jobs-report/5508236 Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

thanks !
dunno what's going on...but when one door closes.... |
Jon, don't let the OZ post use the USPS business model. It sucks.

You think it sucks? Maybe I have been lucky...but I can`t recall them ever losing any of my mail and their shipping cost are much less than fedex and ups and the west coast goods I buy I get in 2-3 days for minimal cost. The only weakness I see is real time info but I just don't really need to know where it is through its entire journey. They certainly need to work on the cost side, and bring down their internal cost that's for sure, they have to get back in the black, but I am happy with their service.

but i can nod my head up and down and mutter "yup, i know...that's true" while reading it. untied package service has eaten some of the things i've trusted it with. feral depress has turned a few into vaporware in the past. the people in the little jeeps might be slow, but there don't seem to be too many packages falling out en route. another thing that bothers me about fed-ex: they hide that little white arrow between the E and X in the logo...but nobody ever talks about it. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1402944740.jpg worse yet, bank of america thinks their logo has an eagle in it. nice try...but no. at best it's a seagull: http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1402944772.jpg |
I was too busy looking at the spoon in "Fed," wondering what was for lunch.
