If you put a 1 on that bike it looks just like Kenny Robert's bike. A few mates are going to the Classic Spa this year. I'll be missing out on it, but due to some recent developments my local dealer has asked me to join them for the trip to Garmish which I gladly accepted.

That bike is older than what I am. What is it? One of the 750 Yamahas or a smaller capacity.

TZ750,do your friends know what they are going to??,we didn't the first year there's a 4 hour pre 1980 endurance race that runs from 8pm till midnight,we were thinking it would be some mickey mouse set up and then saw teams started unwrapping bringing spare engines!!,it's a serious race, but I'm old enough to have been going to see the originals at Le-Mans and I don't ever remember fast Motoguzzi's and they are really quick.

So you have the endurance and the classic paraders, but what really shocked was the whole weekend is a track day event for pre 1980 bikes it's amzing what folks have at the back of the garage.

These are race bikes

This is one of the parader's ever seen a V6 Laverda ridden by the man himself who is now in his eighties.

Oh yes. They are a lot more knowledgeable about bikes than me and real bike enthusiasts. They will probably name them as it goes around the track.

That Laverda sure looks odd. The first time I heard the proper old race bikes was at the Brackley festival. A few of them are replicas but what a glorious sound. The ears sure takes a beating. Definitely a lot different to the MotoGP machines of today.

That Laverda is beautiful, I've just been turning my HP2 into a racebike, nearly there.

Finally got the race glass painted and on, just need some numbers and stickers. The other photo was while the bike was still in road trim.
