Dr. OZ-love, or how i learned to love FIM, Staintune, and Lennie

The installation of the chip is complete, thanks johnnydanger. had a rough day at work, just anticipating the package that awaited my arrival was torture. got home, immediately strip the bike, hooked the DVM to the TPS, reset to stock settings, took out the battery, popped out the ECU, swapped the chip, put everything back and then headed out for a short little ride. while i was not able to really get on it, the results are apparent from the start. surging is limited, holding 25-30 mph is relatively easy. how you aussies can make the german's bike that much better is fine by me, keep it coming. The bike is just a different machine. absolutely wonderful...
on a sid note, as this was the last day for the stock chip, it must have wanted to go out with a bang, so this morning, as i am just entering the north gate at the US Capitol building, kaboom, nice and loud backfire. thought the capitol poilce were going to shoot me. oh well.

did i mention that the bike is great and that i used a DVM to reset my TPS...i know i did, but i thought i would repeat myself.

Proud to hear the glowing reports repoe3 , Australia might yet achieve a " R11S performance enhancement led Economic Recovery " .

Take it from a satisfied Vanderlinde/ Induct / FIM chip customer .

Mick .

Mick I believe your Bike is very nice , I didn't get to ride it, but those that did said it was the best S they had been on. John rode mine after yours, I have stains, in-duct and FIM. He said your combination felt much smoother.

I have just finished installing new air filter, fuel filter, and plugs. The fuel filter is a *****, and I will relocate when I can think of a good spot. The old one was almost blocked, could not blow through it, so my bike may perform a little better . I 'm looking forward to a ride tomorrow. Mick it was nice to meet up , hope to catch you at the Island.

Anybody know of any workshops in Sydney that will supply and install the Ultimap chip? My current workshop have said they won't install any chips due to the warranty issues and the $2k for the computer if it stuffs up.

Tom.

Repoe bit of a worry mate - DO WHAT EXACTLY?

- should have come last week on the ride with us- you could have shared a floor with some Irish / Spanish and Italian backpakers

- the outback? - dont beleive all that Paul Hogan or Mel Gibson say mate. pretty inhospitable part of the world at times - especially in the drought we are going thru at the moment

- welcome anytime - ( I know a bloke moving to Tasmania that has some real cheap acc. and free beer for everyone - three cheers for Leenie)

- keep the luv comin brother -

Mark
