MRA Windshield- Is it me?
Anybody else tried the MRA sport shield with the little lip around the top. I just put one on and the wind hitting my helmet is literally deafening, I hate it. Anybody had any luck cutting these down?

I'll buy it from you if it's the touring shield. But to answer your question, no. Haven't tried one. I have a MRA Varioscreen that I like. It doesn't cause any undue discomfort. I went through 3 shields before getting it. I'm 5"11.

I hated the flip on mine & cut it off using a dremel w/ cutoff wheel. I marked the cut with masking tape & be sure to keep the dremel above the cut so the chuck doesn't hit good plastic. Cleaned it up with emory paper & it looks like stock.

I tried an MRA same issue, very noisy. My favorite was the OLD style Cee-bailey looked good too. Unfortunately they updated their design and it was more touring oriented, a great shield if looking for added protection.

Thanks for the input
Think I'm going to try the dremel approach.
The windshield is just aesthetic to me. I don't mind the normal wind in my face thing but this thing cause a friggin hurricane. |
