License Plate bracket (Sta-in-Tune)

So, I'm at Neptunes Net on PCH with a couple of buddies and we're having a swell time. Time to go. Get out to our bikes which were parked right on PCH out in front of the place and I immediately notice my plate is gone. I was out front the whole route there and my two pals behind me never saw anything fly off the bike. Matter of fact, my one buddy said just a half hour earlier he was going to mention my tags (I have the tag but hadn't affixed it as of yet) which was to expire soon.

I know the plate bracket holder was fastened real well - I even payed extra attention making certain it would stay put, taking the vibrations encountered into account. We concluded someone pinched my plate. The area we parked in, though out in the open and visible, was also jam packed with other bikes and if so inclined - one could easily crouch down and get away with doing the dastardly deed.

I haven't been riding the bike and did report the plate as being missing/stolen as a precaution, and I know another plate from DMV isn't going to be an issue - However, I don't know about the mounting bracket.

Does anyone know if the standard OE bracket/holder is used or did the exhaust come with its own?

regards,
J.S.

Mine has a flat stainless plate holding the mufflers together that says Staintune on the top... and a piece of aluminum angle iron bolted to that. The plate bolts to the angle iron.
