Rear suspension sag is pretty low, meaning rear is stiff.

Center stand 0 reference point
Bike under its own weight, 1/4" sag
Under my weight with gear on, 1.5" sag

Would that cause unsettling effect in corner?, losing rear end traction? Although I haven't noticed it except for the time valve cover touched the ground and rear tire broke loose.

Usually 0 reference is bike sitting upright not on center stand. Generally I set rear sag 25-35mm, which if your 1.5" is from ctr. stand you're good at 1.25.

Excellent. I'm actually at 25mm...this was with a backpack and 10+lbs of stuff in it. Just wanted to see what would be my worst sag when I have a backpack on. Without it I was at exactly 1".

Gents,

Just wanted to stop by and say hello and report that she's still doing great.

Here's a recent, actually only video I have riding her.

Gonna have some fun doing this repair tonight. I love this forum; there's already this how-to better than any manual's.

edit: Just found out CaptainReza died on Ortega Highway about three months after posting the above. Damn. RIP.
