Sold @ Mecum - Good Looking 12s

Just noticed this sold for $7,250 at Mecum in Vegas today. Anybody know the bike? It's a looker! Me thinks it was a decent buy, even with the premium. Great paint job.

Probably a fair price, it would depend on the paint condition (up top where the tank bag was) and everything else... You don't get extra cash for mods, paint or hardware though.

i saw this bike on craigslist not long ago and even sent an email.....seems like a steal at this price.

Wouldn't call it a steal with over11k miles (believed) but a decent buy indeed. Bikes with 1/3 this mileage are often offered Closer to $10k

The auction company is a middle man, and the federal odometer statement is between buyer and seller, so Mecum makes no guarantees as to mileage, every vehicle they offer is stated as "believed". That's my take, anyway.

Looks like Remus header w/stock muffler? That's a preferable setup to stock header w/less restrictive slip-on muffler. More free-flowing, especially on deceleration. Deeper sound yet not obnoxiously loud.

Are those initial series Pilots? Depending on MFG date, you might consider immediate replacement with current types.
