Thanks for the post.

Seems even BMW realizes that since there is so much volume inside the combustion chamber. Adding an additional spark plug helps improve the ignition latency due to the large displacement of our R259's.
I know the dual plug conversions really helps the older air heads, and am not surprised to see BMW introduce this to their product line.

I have personally converted two r100's using the services of SJBMW and their ignition kit with awesome results.

Excuse me for asking but where does the second plug end up in the combustion chamber? I guess off to one side of the valves, coming in from the bottom. I understand the advantage on a two valve motor (see this years two valve Ducati's) but wonder how much it will help on a four valve head. Four valve heads usually have a centrally located plug in the center of the four valves. Will it cure the low RPM "knock" that strikes my motor sometimes? OK you "rocket scientists" out there, explain further please. Thanks in advance.
