Poor Running/Fuel Comsumption Problem
 

Hi all,

Havn't posted here for a while now but need some help.

Start the bike and it runs fine. Around town, no problem. Part of my ride to work involves several miles of fast road, when slowing after a couple of miles the bike barely ticks over. This sorts itself after a bit of slow riding. It dosn't happen every time but is happening enough to be annoying. Also fuel comsumption seem to have increased, around 10 miles less per tank full.

I'll sync the throttles this weekend but it seems to be a more than that. The bike has 55,000 miles on the clock and runs a BBPower chip and full Laser exhaust system.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

As the fuel filter ever been changed?

I think that's the right first question too.
Some folks have problems in as little as 20-30k miles on the original fuel filter.

55k miles is more than probably all but a few people have on an S (or at least the people that have time to spend here on the board :)
