Wobbly steering stabilizer
My stabilizer is all wobbly on the section that connects to the A arm of the bike. I have an older stabilizer that has the joint in good condition. Since the inside part has a safety pin I figure this joint is replaceable.
I want to ask if I must use a press or if I can just knock it out. I don't want to harm the little ball like part. ![]()

its a hiem joint it should swivel and rotate it will need a press
beating bearings is never a good idea especially if you want to re use them |

The swivel on my current stabilizer is too loose and over bumps it moves vertically hitting the A arm and making a racket. Old one is stiff as it should be.

sounds like you need a press and a proper sized bearing tool.
you might be able to get away with a C clamp or a Bench vise. you should be able to buy a new bearing, and it might be put together with loctite so you might need to heat it but not enough to damage the shaft seal |

You might try riding without it for a bit to see if you really think you need one. Many just remove and never miss them.
