Passenger sliding into my seat on '07 R1200S

The 2007 r12s has that huge rider seat and a very hard/slippery back seat.
My gf slides into my seat (which is about 3 inches below hers and make it very uncomfortable for my boys. Any ideas of what I can do to lock her in place back there?

Also, does anybody know where to get some sort of backrest for her?

Not to be flippant but a passenger on a R12S is not going to happen. That back seat is decorative. Get an RT.

Ye, the thought of having a passenger on that bike, never even crossed my mind...

My wife complained a lot about sliding forward on the rear seat of My 2000 R1100RT. So much so that she let me get a 2005 K1200LT.

Ha-ha!

This was one of the major complaints by many here (not me, I was a first mover) on this board back when the R1200S was announced and then presented to us as the R1100S replacement.

BMW lost a lot of sales back then to many here who had been waiting for the R1100S replacement, and when they saw this there was a lot of screaming and howling - due to the radical design, no real passenger accomodation, and no luggage. Particularly as compared to the R1100S sport-touring design.

They (the BMW design team) wanted "Sport Sport Sport"

What you need to do is find a very clean R1100S to add to your collection.

Try this, cheap & simple. I have one on my zx14 to keep passengers from disengaging upon acceleration. It still won't make that tiny perch into a seat though.

That look like the foam drawer liner you can buy in a roll. I use it under my tank bag and tail duffle to keep them from sliding around and/or scratching the paint.

Pretty much except it's cut to fit & has a string in it to tie it down.

I had the same issue. The fix was easy. I dumped the girl who kept sliding and replaced her with one who knew what she was doing. Never happened again.

I've ordered the drawer stuff one because I'm too lazy to find that stuff in a store. Hopefully this works, if not I'll just keep bringing my demos home One of the perks I have working with BMW is unlimited demo use.

Use more throttle and less brake! If she still snuggles up to you, it's time to pull over and get a room. Wish I had that problem-
