brake reservoir hose I.D.

they want too much for a piece of hose at the dealer, anyone know what size i.d. hose I need for the rear brake reservoir to master cylinder? And where to get it?

It has to be hose that is resistant to brake fluid. Fuel line and oil cooler line hose will swell and leak brake fluid all over your paint... Make sure you get the right hose or it will cost you more than the BMW part in the long run.

The hose in addition to being resistant to brake fluid must be a high pressure hose. Check ebay for a replacement.

I thought it was not under high pressure going from reservoir to cylinder.

It isn't, just flows from the reservoir to master cylinder. It is nice to have the proper hose bend though so it doesn't kink up on you.
