Bought that... and made this

I bought this wheel hub from Bad to the Bown and transformed it into a new farkle. I was always after one of those Wunderlich wheel hub caps. So I decided to make one.

I had the top machined flat and recessed to accept a Ducati wheel nut, faked out the axle and then had paint color matched to bring it all together. I am embarrassed to say how much money I have in it but it satisfied my happy factor and so ... there ya go.

One extra expense was, I was visiting a perspective paint shop and used the pylon cover as a match to show him.... forgot to screw it down and it blew off going down the highway. Took me 5 min. to realize it was gone and 15 minutes to get back to it on the highway and thankfully nobody had run over it... The guys at Motorcycle Paint did a great job matching the color and I actually found a guy who works in a BMW body shop shoot it.... color plus 4 coats of clear.... slick.

Am I missing something, I'm not seeing where that hub relates to the second pic?

I think it's the matching yellow hub. Notice, no lug nuts...

Sorry to be unclear. yes the silver colored hub was machined and modified to cover the four lugs that actually hold the wheel in place. Note the rear wheel is held on by 4 individual bolts now covered by the new yellow disk... Not a big deal just thought I'd offer up my love for these machines. Not that I could afford anything else, but I do look around and wonder what I'd trade into... not really excited by too much... OK maybe a Ducati Diavil. totally different bike for sure. have to be in addition to... a bad boy bike of sorts. Love my ride, I get comments where ever I go...
