Just Bought a New on but Vin don't run

Hey Everybody, so I took the plunge and bought a fully equipped bike on ebay
It ended at 13499. 2100 Miles on it. Seller is 50 and decided to part with it. Do you guys think this is a good deal? I recall a lesser equipped bike was quoted to me for 17K in Fortlauderlade earlier this month!

I am trying to run the vin number on car fax but it keeps telling me that it is invalid?

I would imagine that there will be a few more older riders that find the S-bike a bit hard to ride in the full tuck position. I think you are going to love the DTC.

imo work into your mode settings. if you not on your game the bike may bite.
voice of experience talking here. mine nipped at me while going over a stair step bump in the road. the first one lifted the front wheel (on race) about 2 ft and then came down, didn't lift because the bike does that all the time. but when the second on came on i was humping it and all of a sudden i had what felt like a 5-6 ft wheelie at 90mph. before i shut off the throttle the anti wheelie came on and helped. I wasn't on my game that day.

I thought you didn't like big brother controlling the wheelies .

Jeff, I have read that on settings other than race the bike is quite docile... did you need to change underware?

dude, it f*cken woke me up.
I usually am on the bike at least 3-4 days/week and ride on slick because i like doing wheelies out of corners and backing it in for fun into corner and generally messing off, things you can't do in the other modes. but because of a tight schedule i hadn't ridden that bike for 2 weeks. so i backed down a setting for safety and rode the RR. That was the biggest wheelie i've done on this bike in that setting. but it was ok no harm no foul. lots of guys ride in sports mode, for me, its too constraining, but i have a lot of sports bike experience dating back to the late 70's when i got my first sports bike. Before that it was dirt bikes and enduros.
geees i'm dating myself.... where is my seeing eye dog, where is my pampers, mom, mom , oh never mind
