Question X5 E70 interior trim removal

I plan to change the interior trim of my 2011 X5 from bamboo to brushed aluminum. Now I need to know how to remove the current trim pieces - way more complicated than I expected...

Can anyone tell me how to remove the following trim pieces?
  • doors
  • glove box
  • center console

Any advice or hint is highly appreciated!!
Thanks a lot!

...one down! I was able to replace the center trim pieces. Took me a while to figure out the genius German engineering, but it worked out fine. Got a few bloody knuckles, but no damage to the car or the trim piecs :-)

Next up is replacing the glove box trim piece - you'd think that this is straightforward, but after unscrewing all screws I could find, this damn thing still wouldn't move a single bit...

Trim on rear doors: check.

It was quite scary to remove the entire door panel, but it worked out fine and left no issues whatsoever. I assume the front doors will be the same, so consider them done, too.

This leaves me with the glove box door. I removed so many screws, pulled the iDrive screen and the vent modules, removed more screws, but still no luck. Gotta keep on trying...
